Ingredients:
Blend: 1 stick butter (softened), 1 box yellow cake mix, and 1 egg.
Spread in a 13x9 greased pan. (I use a spatula to spread. It is doughy feeling.)
In a separate bowl mix together:
2 2/3 cups powdered sugar, 2 eggs, 1 8oz cream cheese. Mix with hand mixer until smooth.
Pour over top of other ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 min or until sides are light brown.
Cool in refrigerator for 2-3 hrs. Cut into squares. (However big or small you want.) You can drizzle powdered sugar over top before you serve if you want.
(This cake is better served cold I think.)
This is a big hit recipe anytime I make this for any gatherings or functions.
