I realize from looking at my blog that Joel and I make the same facial expressions! Did I teach them to him or is it just genetic? VERY SCARY either way. I will have to watch myself.
I am grateful that Alex makes the same faces as I do; it's the only way we look alike! Seems like an odd thing to be genetic... did my mom or dad make those faces at me? If I taught them, most were unconsciously done, as are many of his behaviors and mannerisms that mirror mine... those are often scary for me to see. Who knew having a child would force me to be so introspective? Dawn
• 1 1⁄4 lbs fresh yellow wax beans • 2 tablespoons butter • 1⁄4cup crushed Ritz crackers or 1⁄4cup townhouse cracker (about 6 crackers) • salt & freshly ground black pepper • Cook beans in salted boiling water until soft (not crispy) tender and drain. • Add butter and mix until butter melts. • Add cracker crumbs, salt and pepper, stir to combine and serve.
