time and priorities

"If you want to know a person's priorities, just look at how they use their time. Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time." from The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren Joel and I spent our time running all over indianapolis. We went to the bank, the library and to bed, bath and beyond. We then went to Katie and Alex's house to hang out. Joel and Alex adore each other. We went to the park. We went home. no-bake pizza for dinner. Joel played with Daddy and I took Solomon for a walk. Now it is time to WIND DOWN. We never stop moving.

finding something better

"By then I knew that everything good and bad left an emptiness when it stopped. But if it was bad, the emptiness filled up by itself. If it was good you could only fill it by finding something better." A Moveable Feast, Ernest Hemingway
