Gall bladder-less

September 10, 2013
I survived the gall bladder surgery and am currently lying on the sofa while Joel is at school.  A robot named da Vinci did the surgery on me, operated by dr. Glass.  I was terrified but I remember nothing.
Greg came and took care of me on Tuesday- Friday while aaron wa working.   He picked Joel up from school.  I picked Joel up for the first time yesterday.   After effects of surgery. Are pain and sleepiness I can't stop from falling asleep in the afternoon on the sofa, but I can't stay asleep at night.

That's all here for now!

We count... we vote

November 04, 2008
Joel counted the signs, read the letters and named the colors. If he had been voting he would have chosen the candidates with green signs because he liked the color and layout best.

Not many people there. Aaron said it was packed first thing in the morning but at 8:45 I was first in line! After I voted I took Joel to school and got my free Starbucks tall coffee.

Who did I vote for? We use the Australian ballot here. I think that means that only the Australians know who we vote for? Is that right? Perhaps they should be employed in counting the votes to reduce fraud.

WE count we vote!

Twenty One years ago today I landed in the US at Detroit International Airport, to start my new American life. I never knew or expected it to last this long!

My 21 year old American self will have to have legal drink tonight.
