Won't you take me down.. in strawberry fields

We went to pick strawberries, but of course the boys were more interested in other activities. The stains on Joel's shirt are crushed strawberries. Practicing for old age outside the farm store:

Chicken Broccoli Casserole

  1 stick of butter 2 cups of celery diced small 1 cup of onions diced 1/4 cup green pepper 8 oz of fresh sliced mushrooms 1 lb. fresh chopped broccoli (I cut long & thin) 2 lbs. cooked chopped chicken 2 packages of 1 lb. each of cream cheese 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt Sauté all vegetables in the melted butter until tender Add chicken meat plus seasonings Add cream cheese to mixture and blend over low heat until cheese is melted. Pour mixture into a buttered casserole and heat in oven at 350 until top is golden brown. Serves 4 to 6 (I add garlic power 2 teaspoons) Serve with salad and rolls  Can make ahead and freeze
